This exhibition of prints showcases the fine art landscape photography, of Ronald J. Saunders, in the mediums of canvas and metal prints.
Ron became aware that many Nevada residents had never traveled to the small town of Gerlach or seen the nearby beauty and expanse of the Black Rock Desert. He created this photographic journey to encourage people to take the two-hour passage from Reno to Gerlach and experience the grandeur of our magnificent desert environment. The journey can be taken entirely on paved roads.
Elko too is a gateway to extremely beautiful country. He encourages everyone to take a day trip to see and photograph the Rudy Mountains. The journey could be to Lamoille Canyon or Angel Lake or combine them to circumvent the Ruby Mountains. Take YOUR journey soon.
The Exhibition of "Reno to the Black Rock" will be shown at the Northeastern Nevada Museum, in the Halleck Bar Gallery, from August 25th to December 10th 2023.
