Shadow and Light on Purgatory Peak, Near the Black Rock Desert, Nevada

This peak is in the southern end of the Selenite Range in Nevada. Heading north you will come upon the towns of Empire and Gerlach. While in Gerlach, stop at Bruno's and order the Bruno Burger with fries. My favorite! Photo © copyright by Ronald J. Saunders.
