Ice Medallion, Merced River, Yosemite National Park, California

I took this image one rainy day in January. This water sculptured ice had been washed away by high water the next day. The Merced River was very low and I could have easily walked across it (except is was cold). Photo © copyright by Ronald J. Saunders.
