Aspen and Daisies, Aspen, Colorado

After a long day of shooting and waiting for light, I spotted this scene returning from Maroon Bells to my lodging in Aspen. At 8:00 PM I saw this small pond and collection of aspens with daisies, barely visible from the roadway. The trees were catching the last light of the day and the daisies appeared as white beacons among the trunks. Photo © copyright by Ronald J. Saunders.
